• Binkp has a random fidonet address

From Grease@VERT/DARKMATT to All on Friday, August 21, 2026 08:33:09
I get this message when I run binkpoll.

BinkP got non-fatal error 'No AKAs in common domains or all AKAs are busy' from remote:
    1:396/0@fidonet,1:396/3@fidonet,1:396/45@fidonet,1:19/0@fidonet,1:130/0@fidonet,1:387/0@fidonet,901:1/5@dixienet
I don't have fidonet setup. Just FSXNet. Where is this coming from? I looked in sbbsecho.ini and saw no mention of these addresses. Where else would I look?

Those are the addresses (AKAs) belonging to the *remote* system, not yours. Notice that it's not advertising any zone 21 (fsxNet) AKAs, so either they're misconfigured, dropped-out of fsxNet, or it's the wrong hots you're connected to.

Also, this is the wrong sub-board for Synchronet tech support questions.

So just ignore it? Or is there something I need to lok for?

That's up to you. Are you expecting this node to be on a common network? There's likely nothing wrong/misconfigured on *your* side, but possibly something wrong with the remote host.

Yep. I sat and watch the whole transaction. It's coming from someplace else, so I'll let it go fo now.
