Dovenet Yall can have these fuckers.. how do you deal with them?
I try to be civil but I don't take this shit,
If someone gets to bothering me that much, I usually just ignore them for a while. I have twitted one "person" (from another network) who was not so much bothering me but being a bother, period. I also knew this "person" to be the sock puppet of another sysop as he got caught a couple of times posting as the puppet with his "sysop hat" on.
I know the urge to try to get the last word is sometimes difficult to
ignore but in cases where someone is bothering you that much it is usually
the best approach. It is a lot less stressful in the long run.
I generally find I get a long with your "three stooges" of dovenet, and
they have been known to try to be helpful to others, so I would not suggest twitting them. With them, or anyone, you just have to get used to their posting styles and not read everything that could be a putdown as a putdown.
It could just be their writing style that makes them seem like they are being short or insulting when really they are just trying to get more info or
asking a question.
