Seriously, enjoyed the lunch deal yesterday, and getting you that
fax modem deal. I did find a program that I may be able to use for
faxing. I can use it for 30 days free, then it's $50...but it'd be
worth it, feature wise. Info is at ventafax.com

I'm going to start laundry in a bit, and finishing scarfing the
leftovers from yesterday. Since the 911 lines are out across much
of Arkansas this morning, I better stay in today. All those folks

Hmm, never seen a failure with that I think -- but maybe it's just messages that it considers dupes for some reason, and they ended up in the dupe
    message base?

The message appears to be missing a tearline and (addressless) origin line.
Do you have "Base Type: Networked" set for the QWK message bases?
Here's a short excerpt of my settings for this area:

    Name │ 2010: DOVE-Net Sysops Only
    Base Type │ Networked
Net Address │ 0:0/0 (Local Address)
    Export To │ 0 node(s)
Origin │ <empty; it will use the default Origin then>
    QWK Network │ DOVE-Net
    QWK Base ID │ 2010

In case it would help someone, I'm also using the following settings at Vertrauen:

[A] Ctrl-A Color Codes : Expand to ANSI
    [T] Archive Type : zip
    [E] Include E-mail Messages : Yes
[I] Include File Attachments : Yes
    [D] Delete E-mail Automatically : Yes
[F] Include New Files List : No
[N] Include Index Files : Yes
[C] Include Control Files : Yes
    [V] Include VOTING.DAT File : No
    [H] Include HEADERS.DAT File : No
[Y] Include Messages from You : No
    [Z] Include Time Zone (@TZ) : No
    [P] Include Message Path (@VIA) : No
    [M] Include Message/Reply IDs : No
    [U] Include UTF-8 Characters : Yes
[X] Extended (QWKE) Packet Format: Yes

Thats the "max" settings I could select that I believe work fine (at least so far).

those are the good ones your system kept... there were probably some not imported because they were too old...

those 16 may have been votes on messages your poll didn't get or your system didn't keep due to age...

Seems to work, same as mine.. I just need to get door games going and
start doing my custom Ansi.. Been many years since I did any wicked
ANSi art. I will probably switch up the wildcat stuff first, since that is
what I used to use forever ago. Guessing I will have to default it to that system when I do, just hope I can use all the block codes..

Oh nice! Send me your URL so I can check out your progress! I'm light years behind most reading this message but would like to learn. I too am working on doors and customization. I have so many ANSI's from my Mystic BBS that I can move some over and still have two distinct boards. I also run Ghosts in the Machine and may eventually move it from WWIV to Synch .. not sure yet. I mostly was intersted in having a personal door server since I run Linux and DOSBox is not easy with Mystic. But I'm liking all that Synchronet can do and digging the JavaScript mods. Look forward to checking out your progress!
