While reading a message on my SBBS system, I wanted to copy some of the message and was going to paste it into another one. But when I tried to copy the part I wanted it didn't do it. Am I missing something or doesn't SBBS (v3.20) not do that?

If you're doing a regular copy-paste, that depends more on the terminal program you're using rather than Synchronet. What terminal software and OS are you using? I seem to recall some people saying they've been unable to copy/paste using SyncTerm on Mac OS.

how could anybody really help you with this?

you aren't saying if you are doing it on the web or using a telnet client.
or you are trying to do something that synchronet does not do.
