    @CHRS: ISO-8859-1 2

    That's not an FTSC-5003 documented character set identifier. Better use "LATIN-1 2"

    See http://ftsc.org/docs/fts-5003.001 par 4

    Cheers, Michiel

    I know :) This was exactly the kind of test case I would like to avoid.

    Hello All!

    Latin-1 test

    Is that CHRS kludge correct for FTN? While I'm not looking directly at FTS documents, shouldn't it be "LATIN-1 2" (even though according to real world standards, it probably should be what you have, instead. ;))

    Golded had some kind of "xlatcharsetalias" thing in the translation tables that corrected these kinds of things, but I'm sure you already knew this. Maybe I'm just trying to not confuse myself by writing all this out. ;)

    Regards,
    Nick
