    Low on the gory details but I suppose that is typical for an overview. Personally I found the kernel's linux-7.1.2/Documentation/rust/quick-start.rst to be far more helpful. The best idea methinks - for those interested in further developemt and deployment would be a rustc/llvm toolchain howto thingy.

    Anyhow I managed to successfully build and boot a kernel. However I am currently sticking with gcc and friends to take care of my present kernel compiling needs but will keep an eye open on future developments as far as rust is concerned.
