• Weekly nodelist report on noteworthy changes (241)

From Wilfred van Velzen@2:280/464 to All on Friday, August 29, 2025 16:56:45
    Hi All,

    New ZINS in R19: ,33,The_Thunderbolt_BBS,Little_Rock_AR,Daryl_Stout,-Unpublished-,300,XX,INA:tbolt.synchro.net,ITN,IBN
I'm getting 'Connection refused' on the binkp port. There is a timeout on the ITN port.
,41,ZenBBS,Mena_AR,John_James,-Unpublished-,300,XA,INA:zen.kawasu.wtf,IBN Connect with BinkIT/2.41,JSBinkP/4,sbbs3.21a/Linux. The XA flag should be XW for a synchronet system (if tickit is configured).

The IFC:60179 flag is fixed to IFC (without the default port), for 2:291/0 10 1 and 111.

Node 2:5000/83 is changed from Hold to Down status.

Node 2:5010/278 is no longer Hold. (See last weeks report)

    Regards, Wilfred

No, the sysop, John James, should take care of that.

    There are 2 things:

    1) Your nodelist entry will have to be fixed by your Host. Either the XA flag should be removed, or changed to XW, if you have tickit configured right.

    2) You local configuration for processing file requests. That's handled by tickit on synchronet systems. It's best to consult one of the synchronet echomail areas to get help on that.

Btw: What Tommi was hinting at was your use of a handle. It's customary to use real names in most fidonet echomail areas.

    Bye, Wilfred.

The host name was changed, but no change on the conectivity issues.

    Not fixed yet.
