• Elon Musk's Charm Offensive

From Joseph Pereira@1:103/705 to All on Wed Feb 11 04:37:07 2026
You might have already read it, but Elon Musk has finally disabled the Starlink service for Russia. Why this drastic change of course after almost four years of war?

    Quite simple...

Elon wants to take SpaceX public, and it's abundantly clear that offering Starlink service to Russia isn't going down well with the majority of Americans and Europeans. If he wants to raise hundreds of billions of dollars for the SpaceX IPO, he needs to avoid any bad publicity.

So that's why Elon Musk's sudden change of course. All to get richer and gain more power.

A stroke of luck for Ukraine. A bit late, but precisely because the Russians recently used Starlink on their drones, which they use to attack civilians, it became a publicity problem for Elon Musk.

In fact, the Russians only have themselves to blame for the fact that he had to intervene.
