At any rate, I think we'd need to know WHERE yours is failing... its just some code issue...

My apologies, I knew I was forgetting something! LOL

Here is the code, it is right when the user connects and it is trying to create an account

That is the line the issue is in, this is the error:

/bin/sh: 1: Syntax error: Unterminated quoted String.. If i create an account it works as it is supposed to..

I looked through the whole file, couldn't see any issues at all. What does mplc say when you compile it? Normally if you have an error in an MPL script, mplc will catch it and refuse to compile it, so I'm not sure how that error snuck in after compile.

The other thing is, and I had to modify mine to account for this, does the password for the autocreated account have a double quote in it? Because that would do the whole "mplc worked when compiling, but the script as it's written doesn't account for password double quotes and will throw an error and shorten the password after the double quotes" thing.

Well I am glad I am not going crazy.. MPLC says it is fine. Compiles ok.. There are no quotes in the password, just letters.. I am at a total loss with this.. Appreciate all the help you ahve given me...

Maybe I am doing this wrong.. I just tested again changing the minimum password requirement to 2. Now I don't get an error at all... As I said maybe I am wrong here, I was under the impression that I would rename the file to connect.mps then compile. Now I am not seeing that in the docs. Am I supposed to do anything with the file like add it into the prompts section or whatnot? Thanks again...

Yeah, it'll default to the login prompt if the user's password doesn't validate, just so the user can login after a bad password.

I believe the all caps user name would be if the RLogin user name is set that way. It just takes what's set in the terminal for login.

Do another pastebin of a new account creation and disconnect then login again of that same user from the log files so I can see what's happening.
