    Just wanted to let everyone know that we have added a new service to bbs-scene.org.

    In addition to the irc network and the nntp news server that we offer the bbs community we now also offer a banner exchange server for bbs and bbs related websites.

    Sitting on a quad core server with 16 gigs or ram and a dedicated gigabit pipe you can be rest assured that the banner exchange server won't slow your web page down.

    Over the next few months we will be adding more features and services to benefit the bbs-scene and community.

    okay frank wtf. how am i supposed to take this?
    you start up a bbs banner site when you know i just started one this
    year.
    i even asked you to join and you're a member.
    AND it appears you have the exact same banner code script to do it as
    well.
    you see nothing wrong or strange about this???
    i busted my ass and spent a lot of time to get the 40+ people i have
    now.
    i also go through the trouble each week to check every single account
    make sure there are no dead entries.

    We have just launched a new service on bbs-scene.org. The bbs-scene.org bbs list is more than just your standard bbs list, it incorporates automatic checking of listed systems to ensure that every system listed works, never another dead bbs to explore.

    The other exciting feature which makes this list stand apart is the built in api. Using a REST api of GET and POST calls any programer can easily use and add to the list. Door's can easily be written to use the api to access the data and even add to it.

    We will soon be rolling out a oneliner system that will also take advantage of the api so that systems can participate on a global level.
